Dan`s Place in Ayer

First try. Dissapointing. Terrible service. Took 1 hour to get food. Wife's California eggs bennedict had grey avocado on it. Home fries soggy, as was the toast.

I looked for the diner with all the work trucks in the parking lot. Didn't disappoint!

They are a great breakfast spot, the specials are always good and their regular food is of the same quality. I come here every time I'm in town.

Nice selection on menu, service was very good

Food was excellent, good selection on menu. Staff was friendly and prompt. Only complaint would be that the bathrooms were chilly. And no changing table in the men's room, but that is the same complaint pretty much everywhere.

Food and service is always amazing. Good simple homemade food.

Very nice restaurant. I love the asthetics. The stools next to the bar and the furniture make me feel like I'm eating in the 90s haha. Menu is mostly American, and with reasonable prices. The waiters are very friendly and check on you often. It can get quite crowded sometimes so if your in a large group you might not all be able to sit together.

Food was bellows average, slow service, truly nothing spacial. Not sure why it gets 4 stars.👎

The cutest little place to get lunch. So far the food has been fantastic!

Great staff. Great atmosphere. Food was amazing. Had omelets, poached eggs and fried eggs at the table all cooked perfect. No long line either. Will definitely be our new go to place.

We were looking for a quiet place for lunch and stopped at Karyn's Kitchen. It was a very cute place and very clean. We ordered the lunch special and it was excellent - the clam chowder was surprisingly good. The waitress was also very attentive. We will definitely go back for breakfast or lunch again.

Pretty good breakfast

Great variety of food for breakfast. But they don't take Discover or amex and have a $10 minimum for credit, which is pretty pathetic. Oh but their bacon is perfectly salty and crispy.

One of my go-to breakfast places! No wait to be seated, there are lots of staff to make sure you are welcomed with a smile, have a clean table, coffee served STAT, and your meal is ordered and served efficiently. Did I mention that smile? Everyone is so genuinely warm and kind. Yesterday one of my usual servers was there having breakfast with her family - that speaks volumes about the quality of the food and service (not to mention that she must know about the cleanliness of the kitchen!). I have a few dishes I regularly order but my fave breakfast is the steak tips and eggs - delicious, and a great deal!

This spot is the one I like best. I go to a lot of restaurants but here I go the most. The crew is very helpful and the cooking they serve is so flavorful. I never decline to have a good dinner in this place. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Always good. I have no complaints about this place. I can't speak for everyone, but it's my go to breakfast spot almost every morning. I always get a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel or crossant. And there is many more options to get that's deliciously tasting and nice and hot served. Not like Dunkin donuts which is all pre-frozen and microwaved. Good people there service is good and the atmosphere is good. I like it.

What a cute restaurant! Excellent service and the food is delicious! I had the Irish Eggs Benedict and my wife had the Hungry. Both we're fantastic. As a former Sous Chef I give this place my stamp of approval.

Workers great prices great .but don t order scrambled eggs were discussing. Not even real??? couldn't eat so I ordered 2 over easy they were perfect but I got charged 2.00 more bucks? What???*

This was my second trip here and it is just as good as the first. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. Their food is delicious and cooked perfectly. It has a casual atmosphere and a couple neat things to look at on the wall. They did have high chairs and a breakfast bar with several stools. It is a great little diner and I would highly recommend it. I will go back again!

Service was prompt and staff was super friendly. Very clean, great restrooms and reasonably priced. Food was nothing special but was just ok. Maybe adding more creative specials would be a good idea. Definitely would recommend for people with young children though, as the menu is somewhat bland and inoffensive to picky eaters.

Delicious and cheap

I visit this place a few times a week for breakfast. It's always a good meal. Been here lunch a few times. I am NEVER disappointed. The coffee is always fresh and my cup is never empty. The wait staff are all friendly and fast. I usually have Emily serve me. She is without a doubt the best server I have ever had wait on me.Truely a great place to grab a meal.

Had lunch and service was good. Only one other person was there and the kitchen was really slow. Have worked with food all my life and when making food you should be able to multitask. Didn't give me that impression. Ordered a cold sandwich to go after we finished and it took 10 minutes before it was ready. At this point there were about 3 more tables. Will try it again. Breakfast is faster.
